I was born and raised in Hong Kong and earned my first degree from Tsinghua University in Beijing. Later, I moved to Perth to pursue a Doctor of Medicine at the University of Western Australia.

During my residency years after graduation, I gained experience across various specialties, including general medicine, plastic and reconstructive surgery, emergency medicine (including pediatrics), coronary care, rehabilitation and aged care, and older adult mental health. I worked in several hospitals, such as Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital, Joondalup Health Campus, Perth Children’s Hospital, Osborne Park Hospital, and Albany Health Campus. Additionally, I worked in the community with Pioneer Health Albany and Silver Chain’s Home Hospital service, which ultimately inspired me to pursue a career in General Practice.

I have special interests in chronic disease management, preventative health, skin cancer medicine, children’s health, and mental health. I am fluent in both Mandarin and Cantonese.

When I’m not working, I enjoy eating and reading—if you’re lucky, you might bump into me at a random café on the weekend!
